PRESIDIO— Now that spring has truly sprung, outdoor activities are ramping up (even in chilly San Francisco). Lovers of Off the Grid's Presidio event will be pleased to welcome Twilight at the Presidio back to their snacking and drinking roster, starting this Thursday, April 2. Lanterns, more dining cabanas, fire pits (available to reserve ahead of time) and live music at sunset will be combined with a new lineup of food trucks for a crepuscular delight. Like its daytime counterpart, the evening picnic happens on the Main Post, but goes from 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. [EaterWire]

SAN FRANCISCO— Gaspar Brasserie and Café Claude are planning a little twist on a French April Fool's tradition called Poisson d'Avril, in which French children attempt to attach a paper fish to the victim's back without being noticed. Gaspar Brasserie and Café Claude are pulling a version of the prank by hiding $500 worth of gift certificates inside vintage paper fish hidden around the city. Clues will be sent out to the locations via the restaurant's twitter accounts (@cafeclaude and @gasparbrasserie); participants who find the fish and take a selfie with it receives the prize, until all the clues and prizes have been awarded. Check in April 1 to get some free stuff. [EaterWire]

MARINA— PlumpJack Wine and Spirits will host an evening with Kilchoman and Arran Distillery, as they pour through their lineup of single malt Scotch whiskies. Learn about how the Scotch is made from the makers, accompanied with snacks and Scotch cocktails. The tasting will take place Tuesday, March 31 from 6:30 p.m.- 9:30 p.m.; tickets for the tasting are available here. [EaterWire]
