DOGPATCH— Master confectioner and chef Michael Recchiuti is teaming up with Dave Mclean of Magnolia Brewery for a beer-inspired, six-course dining experience at Recchiuti's cafe, theLab. Part of Recchiuti's tasteProject dinners, the two-night series will pair dishes like smoked chicken with Swiss chard and sorrel with Magnolia's small batch brews. The dinner will take place Friday, March 6 and Saturday, March 7; tickets are available here.

NOPA— Madrone's bouncer Em Wah has been a neighborhood fixture for almost a decade. Now, after several setbacks including a heart attack and double bypass surgery, friends and coworkers are rallying to help him get back on his feet with a gofundme campaign. Additionally, The bar will host a benefit for Wah on March 21st from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., accepting donations and holding a silent raffle. [Hoodline]

EMBARCADERO— This Friday marks the return of the Weekly Beast from One Market, wherein chef Mark Dommen features a three-course meal from a whole animal.
