Resolute Wine Bar to Open in the Tenderloin; Urban Legend Cellars Dinner at Lungomare

Plus: Junju continues and a whiskey party at Bar Agricole.


TENDERLOIN— The 'loin is about to receive an influx of sweet, sweet wine in the shape of Resolute, a wine bar and shop at Geary and Leavenworth. Owners Justin Beem and Daniel Brooker will offer a selection of wines by the glass, eight beers on tap and wine for retail sale, as well; cheese plates and charcuterie will also be available for snacking. OAKLAND— Urban Legend Cellars has teamed up with Lungomare for a four-course seasonal spring menu. Chef Craig DiFonzo will pair his dishes (that will include an uni risotta with preserved lemon and spring lamb) with Urban Legend's Italian varietals. Dinner is $65 and takes place on Wednesday, April 29 at 6:30 p.m. [EaterWire]

MISSION— Join chef Robin Song (Hog & Rocks) for the second Sunday Supper featuring his Korean pop-up, Junju. Korean barbecue fans can dine upon Song's interpretation of the meal, focusing on classic banchan, and dishes like kimchi pancakes. SOMA— K&L Wine Merchants and Bar Agricole have joined forces for a fancy whiskey party on the restaurant's patio, featuring K&L's single cask arrivals. There'll be Scottish snacks and the spirits purveyor's entire 2015 selection of single malts and grain whiskies from Hepburn's Choice, Sovereign, and Old Particular.
