MISSION— For those not lucky enough to have sampled Locanda's opening cocktail menu way back in 2011, now's the time. In honor of the restaurant's 4th birthday, they'll offer complimentary prosecco on Friday, May 1 and the throwback cocktail menu Friday-Sunday. [EaterWire]

MISSION— Abbot's Cellar is opening the doors to the vault this weekend, for what they say will be an epic cellar sale. Beers from both Monk's Kettle and Abbot's Cellar will be up for grabs, including some really hard-to-find and interesting items. View the full list of beers here; doors at Abbot's Cellar will open up from noon-4 p.m. on Saturday, May 2-Sunday, May 3. [EaterWire]

MISSION— Plin is now offering a four-course family-style menu on Sunday evenings from 5 p.m.-6:30 p.m. The menu changes weekly, although the need to mentally prepare for Monday does not— so, smooth over the damage of the weekend with a plate of homemade spaghetti or chicken parmesan. [EaterWire]

CASTRO— Prepare for Cinco de Mayo by brushing up on the fascinating world of tequila. HECHO is launching their Monday tequila classes on Cinco de Mayo Eve (May 4) from 6:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. For $25 taste and learn about tequilas, then get a 15% discount when you stay for dinner. [EaterWire]
