NORTH BEACH— Tony's Pizza Napoletana has won many awards over the years for owner Tony Gemignani's serious pizza skills. Now they're featured on Esquire Network's new series "Best Bars in America." To see Tony represent San Francisco's pizza interests, tune in tonight, Wednesday, May 13 at 6 p.m PST. UNION SQUARE— Join Lucky Peach Magazine for a celebration of their newest issue,The Plant Kingdom. The party will feature Thai fruit carving and other fruit-and-veggie focused entertainment. Intriguingly, the event will also feature a pasta demonstration and cookoff between Brandon Jew (Mister Jiu's) and Thomas McNaughton (flour + water).
