Help Liverpool Lil's Get Back on Their Feet; A Look Inside Sylvan Brackett's Kitchen

PRESIDIO— While Liverpool Lil's didn't experience direct fire damage from the recent two-alarm blaze that scorched its building, the resulting smoke and water damage has put them temporarily out of business. In the meantime, the restaurant has launched a fundraising page, encouraging any locals or regulars who've enjoyed Liverpool Lil's to help support their employees during the rebuild. [EaterWire]

SAN FRANCISCO— Saveur Magazine took a look inside the "impressively curated" home kitchen of Sylvan Brackett, chef-owner of popular Mission restauraunt Izakaya Rintaro. Check out the collection of Japanese cookware, plates and other ephemera that he's collected from Japan. [EaterWire]

UNION SQUARE— Gaspar Brasserie is celebrating their one-year anniversary with "An Evening in Paris." The seven-course dinner will channel the luxury of Paris, with truffles, foie gras and spring lamb. It will also be an opportunity for a preview of the upcoming Cognac Room bar at the restaurant. SOMA— Picnic on Third is hosting their first annual Belgian Beer Week this week. Head over to try five different Belgian-style beers from California breweries, including Social Kitchen Rapscallion and Mavericks Belgian Wit.
