If you're a fan of lobster, then Lobster Me is a fan of you. The burgeoning mini-chain, which boasts two locations in Vegas and one in Bethesda, MD, has set its sights on San Francisco for outpost #4, which will be located in the downstairs food court of the Westfield San Francisco Centre.
As its name implies, Lobster Me specializes in the beloved crustacean, available in four different types of lobster rolls (from classic butter to a truffle mayo version), lobster tacos, lobster mac and cheese, and even lobster poutine (which subs lobster bisque for gravy). They even have "lobsicles," a grilled or fried lobster tail on a stick. For the unimaginative, there are also some fish and shrimp options, as well as hot dogs.
The plan is for Lobster Me to make its debut in late summer, joining Lobsta Truck as the second lobster-centric import to claw its way into the SF market.
