Local food truck demigod Off the Grid is launching a new location in Mission Bay this month. Beginning Tuesday, June 16, it'll add a new lunch market at UCSF to its already prolific network of street food markets. Off the Grid at UCSF will operate weekly on Tuesdays and Fridays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The new location will offer a rotating lineup of three food trucks, with regulars including Liba Falafel, Bacon Bacon, Hula Truck, Sabor San Miguel, and DUM Truck.

This isn't Off the Grid's first foray into Mission Bay, however; earlier this year, the food truck company paired with The Giants to create The Yard at Mission Rock, featuring food trucks as well as beer and wine on tap. Add in SoMa StrEat Food Park's new deal, and rapid growth in both residential housing and office space, and Mission Bay might be poised for a moment in the spotlight.
