Snoop Dogg Rolls California's Finest With Iron Chef Morimoto

The duo collaborated on a sushi rolling demo at BottleRock Napa.

Although Snoop Dogg may already be something of an expert at rolling stuff, he got a serious lesson from Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto over the weekend. The unlikely pair teamed up for a sushi rolling demonstration on BottleRock's Williams-Sonoma Culinary Stage, which hosted a variety of high-profile musical and culinary talent over the course of the three-day festival.

Snoop ditched his gin 'n juice in favor of the official drink of Napa Valley, sipping red wine (with ice) from a plastic cup. Morimoto gave the L.A. rapper tips as he rolled his first California roll onstage, much to the delight of the enormous crowd of fans in attendance. And though it may have been Snoop's first time rolling sushi, his natural talent won him the admiration of Morimoto, who shouted "you're good, you're good!" as the Doggfather sliced and ate his creation. And, not to be outdone, Morimoto took the opportunity to show off some of his own vocal stylings, singing to the crowd in Japanese as Snoop filmed with his phone. Basically, you can't make this stuff up. Or, in the words of Snoop, "Only in Napa Valley, baby!"
