On Thursday, July 23rd Chef Michael Mina's new rotating pop-up space will roll out it's first concept: Middle'terranea — a five-course, family-style affair inspired by the Middle Eastern-Mediterranean crossover between Mina and RN74 executive chef Adam Sobel.
After the launch, Middle'terranea will be open Wednesdays to Saturdays in the former Cafe Claude space on Greenwich street. Reservations run $45 per person, plus an optional $30 beverage pairing — all before gratuity. Tickets can be booked through Resy and diner take note: there's a surcharge for extra hummus.
Since the Test Kitchen is meant to be a place for Mina's pool of talent to try out new cuisines and ideas, Middle'terranea is only expected to run for three months before the concept is swapped out. The most successful or promising ideas might eventually find their way out into the rest of the Mina Group, but for now you can check the Middle Eastern-Mediterranean fusion menu below:
