Saigon Sandwich has long been one of San Francisco's truly essential cheap eats destinations, offering an unbeatable deal on banh mi sandwiches stuffed with roast pork, chicken and paté. There she found a well-oiled machine serving a wide mix of people, all of whom had one thing in common: a hankering for cheap sandwiches.
