Belga Adds Brunch, Lord Stanley Does Lunch

Also: a lamb throwdown and new additions at the SF Street Food Festival.

RUSSIAN HILL— Acclaimed newcomer Lord Stanley is rolling out pre-fixe Saturday lunches. $45 gets three courses of all new dishes not found on the regular dinner menu, plus a limited wine list and and a Reality Czech pilsner heirloom tomato Michelada. After the launch, the pre-fixe lunch will eventually be rolling out to Fridays as well. [EaterWire]

THE MARINA— The newly three-starred Belga is now offering a lengthy brunch window on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Highlights from the menu, which you can find here include a croque madame with sunny egg, soft eggs with lamb merguez brioche beignets and, of course, waffles. FORT MASON— The San Francisco Street Food Festival has added a new feature this year: Islands and Chef's Counters. The former are three areas that each focus on one cuisine, presented by a range of chefs (there's aTaco Island, Dumpling Island and Seafood Island). Chef's Counters are exactly what you think they are and will feature "Hapa Ramen alum" Richie Nakano, Telmo Faria from Ume Casa and more. [EaterWire]

PRESIDIO— Sunday, Sunday Sunday: it's the Lamb Jam at the Golden Gate Club featuring chefs Chris Cosentino, Sophina Uong, David Bazirgan, John Fink and more cooking lamb, of course. Tickets at $60 general admission or $90 VIP and proceeds benefit La Cocina. [EaterWire]
