SOMA— Mourad has launched a fancy lunch menu, perfect for those days when a reheated slice of pizza just won't do. The menu is all new, with dishes like merguez sausage with yogurt, harissa and herbs, alongside a lunch dessert menu from pastry chef Melissa Chou. Starting today, lunch will be offered Monday-Friday from 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. [EaterWire]

CIVIC CENTER— Fine & Rare is now open, serving their "comfort food with a NorCal twist" in the the space formerly occupied by Stars (which is also home to The Empire Room). The fast-casual spot is serving up favorites from their food truckin' days like a salmon pastrami sandwich, as well as some new additions to the lineup. Stop by from 11 a.m.-8 p.m., Monday-Friday. SOMA— Dogpatch's Triple Voodoo Brewery is teaming up with Red Dog for an evening of summery beer pairings. Triple Voodoo's Belgian-style beers are a cool complement to four courses of dishes like chef Lauren Kiino's shrimp ceviche and grilled lamb. The dinner takes place Thursday, July 30 at 6:30 p.m.; tickets available here. [EaterWire]

MISSION BAY— It's gonna be Christmas in July at The Yard, as Anchor Brewing taps a special cask of Christmas Ale 2015. This will be the first prototype of the annual brew, and the first time it's been made available to the public. Pints of last year's Christmas Ale will also be poured. The festivities start at 3 p.m. on Thursday, July 30. [EaterWire]
