SOMA— Shark Week seems to have snuck up on almost everyone this year— with the exception of the brave folks at El Capitan. To celebrate the deadly week, chef Mark Furr is offering the Trinidadian-inspired "Shark & Bake," featuring sustainably caught Mako shark marinated in Caribbean seasoning and topped with slaw and cilantro and tamarind chutneys. There'll also be beer and cocktail specials, plus sharks on the big screens all week long. [EaterWire]

OAKLAND— Camino's Monday night suppers are now Steak Mondays. Starting tonight, July 6, stop by for a three-course prix fixe menu that stars grilled rib eyes with farro, corn, cherry tomato salad and herb butter. The whole thing is $57, including gratuity. [EaterWire]

MISSION— Matt Licklider is bringing his LIOCO Winery wines from Sonoma, Mendocino and Santa Cruz for a night of tasting at Foreign Cinema. The winery purchases fruit from vineyards throughout California and crushes them in Santa Rosa and is exceedingly hard to get. Licklider will be on hand to offer tastings, pairings and more information through the evening; stop by on Thursday, July 9 during dinner service, from 5:30 p.m.- 11:00 p.m. [EaterWire]

POTRERO HILL— Music and food festival Phono Del Sol is back again, offering the sweet sounds of bands like Tan Lines and food from a variety of tasty vendors. Feast upon Hella Vegan Eats, Bacon Bacon, Mozzeria Pizzeria and more on Saturday, July 11 from noon- 7 p.m.; tickets available here. [EaterWire]
