SAN FRANCISCO — After it was named the country's best new restaurant by Bon Appétit this week, AL's Place is getting a big ol' dose of exposure, for better or worse. Familiar with the resulting "tsunami" of attention is State Bird Provisions, who received the honor in 2012.
