SAN FRANCISCO — After it was named the country's best new restaurant by Bon Appétit this week, AL's Place is getting a big ol' dose of exposure, for better or worse. Familiar with the resulting "tsunami" of attention is State Bird Provisions, who received the honor in 2012. HAYES VALLEYThree Twins is turning the big 1-0, and to celebrate, it's offering customers scoops at whatever price they deem worthy on Thursday, August 27 at all four locations. All of the day's proceeds will go to local environmental organizations. EaterWire]
