Off the Grid Bringing Its Food Truck Market to Fremont

Gourmet food trucks will set up shop at The Globe Shopping Center on Wednesdays and Sundays.

The Bay Area's favorite food truck party, Off the Grid, is set to open at its 38th location at The Globe Shopping Center in Fremont. Local residents will be excited to learn that it's all happening not once, but twice a week with events on Wednesdays and Sundays and a rotating lineup of eight food trucks.

Wednesday's rotating fleet will include Little Green Cyclo, 3-3-3, Cluck it Up, 3 Brothers Kitchen, The Waffle Roost, Curry up Now, The Chairman, Hula Truck, Mediterranean Touch Cuisine, H. Butler's BBQ, Roderick's BBQ, CupKates and Lexie's Frozen Custard. On Sundays will be Curry Up Now, Opie's Gourmet Stacked Burgers, Koja Mantraah, Southern Comfort Kitchen, Pelican Po'Boys, Canasta Kitchen, Kabob Job, We Sushi, JShack, Street Dogs, Go Streatery, Johnny Doughnuts and Frozen Kuhsterd.

The Wednesday night festivities will also include live music, with reggae/island rock group The Shawn Megofna Band getting the party started during the Grand Opening on September 16.

Hours for Off the Grid: Fremont at The Globe Shopping Center will be Wednesdays from 5 p.m.- 9 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m.- 3 p.m. To find out the food truck lineup for each date, visit Off the Grid's site.
