The Half Orange Opened a Beer Garden Out Back

There's a party this Saturday to celebrate.

Fruitvale Beer Garden
Oakland is officially a beer lover's destination: The Half Orange announced today the opening of a beer garden in its newly-expanded patio. Fruitvale Beer Garden, as they're calling it, has 40 seats, 13 draft taps, TV's outside and heaters to come post-heat wave. There's a new menu of dinner specials (below), too, in addition to the regular menu. To launch the expanded spot, Fruitvale is holding a grand opening party Saturday, September 19 with $4.95 beers from 11 a.m.- 10 p.m. Fruitvale is the latest beer garden to hit Oakland, like the recent Drake's Dealership, plus stand-bys Linden Street Brewery, Brotzeit Lokal and Lost & Found.
