Last year Eater National proclaimed it “the biggest opening of 2016,” and after a series of delays, it will make good on that promise: Single Thread, the restaurant/farm/inn from chef Kyle Connaughton and his wife/farmer Katina, will open in late November.
Now that it’s opening, the next hurdle will be procuring reservations to the very intimate restaurant and inn, which has five rooms. Reservations for the entirety of 2017 will be pre-released via newsletter, to those who sign up by Friday, October 14. The pre-release includes access to a special package (which can be purchased October 14 through 20), for a one-night weekday stay, and dinner and breakfast for two.
The restaurant and inn will draw upon Japanese cooking and hospitality styles to create a super intimate experience. And, it’s attracted a seriously talented lineup of cooks, sommeliers, and other service professionals from Michelin-starred restaurants around the world. So for parties interested in what will surely be an impossible to reserve experience, head on over to the website to sign up.
