The Riddler keeps its female theme going
As the opening of Hayes Valley champagne bar The Riddler draws ever closer, owner Jen Pelka is getting her team in place. As Pelka just announced on Instagram, former Aatxe chef de cuisine Shannon Waters will be getting the kitchen started as the culinary consultant during opening, and Marissa Payne (Luce) is taking over as beverage director, which keeps all the female vibes alive.

Twenty Five Lusk has had some pretty high-profile visitors (ahem, President Obama) in its past, and now it’s about to get its television debut. Catch the restaurant on Bravo’s “Manzo'd with Children” this Sunday, October 23 at 9 p.m.
Quince and Cotogna score a new wine director
Quince and Cotogna have a new director of wine and beverages in Jeff Kellogg, who joins from New York City’s Maialino. Kellogg was one of Food & Wine’s 2016 sommeliers of the year, and has also worked at RN74 and Yountville’s Redd.
Tal y Tara is getting more tea
Outer Richmond tea room Tal y Tara is adding more tables and expanding its kitchen, Hoodline reports. In order to make more room, the retail side of the shop, which sells equestrian items, will shrink.
