Redditors discuss their favorite SF spots
When a Warriors player asks for restaurant recommendations, Reddit answers the call. Kevin Durant took to the crowdsourcing site and asked Warriors fans what places he should check out as someone new to the area. The top suggestions included Ike’s Sandwiches, Delfina, La Taqueria, Belly, Gorilla Barbeque, and Philz Coffee.
There’s a new FiDi takeout window serving uni and raw fish

The Financial District has a new takeout window called Grubbie’s at 303 Sacramento St., and it’s selling some pretty pricey items. Specifically, chirashi (rice bowl with raw fish) is on the menu, and there are some options in the $15 to $20 range, but there is also $200 uni on the menu. It’s open weekdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., but often sells out early, Hoodline reports.

Pinkie’s Bakery shuts down completely
Following the shut down of Pinkie’s SoMa location, its Bernal Heights store is sadly following suit. According to owner Cheryl Storms, “Basically it is taking Pinkie’s on Cortland down with it,” Bernalwood reports. The bakery is officially closed, and Storms plans to focus on her family and consulting projects.
Black Horse needs $140,000 to stay open
Black Horse London Pub, the city’s smallest bar, located on Union Street, is in trouble. Owner James King made some unfortunate business decisions, and leveraged the bar in the process. Now, he needs $140,000 by February in order to stay open, and has taken to GoFundMe for help.
