Tartine Manufactory to take over the state of California

A mere three months after the massive (and Eater Award-winning!) Tartine expansion into The Manufactory, the team is expanding down south to Los Angeles. It will be three times the size of our Manufactory, with 150 to 200 seats, and set to open in about a year. Eater LA has all the details, right this way.

The third Jane bakery will open later this month

Get excited, because the third Jane location is set to open at 1881 Geary Blvd in the last week of November, per SFist.

Caviar expands to Marin County

Marin County dwellers can now get their food delivered to their door via Caviar, as of right this very second. Initial restaurant partners include Bar Bocce, Belcampo Meat Co., Pacific Catch, and more.

Saha to become Phlox Commons

A former Saha manager is turning the Hotel Carlton space into an American pub called Phlox Commons. Opening this Saturday, November 19, Phlox will have an extensive beer and wine list (over 60 options) and tavern fare like steak frites, roasted chicken, and more, Inside Scoop reports.
