Adriano Paganini’s Cow Hollow Mexican restaurant is open

Flores, the new Mexican restaurant from Back of the House Restaurant Group (led by empire-builder Adriano Paganini), is now officially open in Cow Hollow in the old Betelnut space (2030 Union St.). Hours are Sunday through Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Thursday through Saturday from 5 p.m. to 12 a.m. Get all the details, including the menu, here.

Dungeness crab season is not perfect

Guess it was too good to be true. Dungeness crab season is running into some problems, with the 120 miles south of Point Reyes not opening as planned on December 1. KCBS has all the details.

Singer Zendaya reveals her Bay Area restaurant picks

If you happen to be a fan of Disney prodigy Zendaya, then you may be interested in her Bay Area restaurant picks. Turns out she’s from Oakland, so she put together her go-tos. The full list of picks are available on her app, but they include Blondie’s Pizza (This sh%# is doughy goodness.), Arizmendi Bakery (They had a lime type of aioli type of sh%# on top [of the breakfast pizza].), Bakesale Betty, and Trader Vic’s.

Add one more to SF’s new legacy business program. SoMa gay bar The Stud has secured legacy status, ensuring its ability to hopefully stick around for a while through financial incentives to landlords.
