The East Bay will get its very own Super Duper and Organic Coup

Fried chicken sandwiches and fast food burgers are coming right up for East Bay residents, as Organic Coup and Super Duper are both planning locations across the bay. Berkeleyside reports that Super Duper will take over Smart Alex’s Intelligent Food on Telegraph in Berkeley, while Organic Coup is moving into both Oakland (1300 Clay St. Ste. 162A) and Pleasanton (4825 Hopyard Rd.), as well as an unannounced address in Berkeley on Telegraph.

Not all local shellfish is safe

Dungeness crab may be in the clear this year, but not all shellfish is safe this year, SF Gate reports. State public health officials issued a warning to avoid rock crabs from Half Moon Bay and bivalve shellfish and rock crabs from Monterey Bay because of — you guessed it — high levels of domoic acid.

Delivery just got easier for Oakland residents
