You can now lunch at Una Pizza Napoletana
After 20 years of serving up absurdly pillowy pizzas to the SF public for dinner, Una Pizza Napoletana is adding daytime service. Starting Wednesday, December 14, lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday through Friday. So if you work in the area, count your blessings.
RTB pop-up sets up shop at Dabba
It’s been three months of former Atelier Crenn chef Rodney Wages’ weekly Monday pop-ups at Izakaya Kou. Now, Wages is adding weekend service at Dabba, with the same format, plus walk-in availability. Tickets start at $89 for an Asian-influenced fine dining meal, set to high energy, loud hip-hop (as well as K-pop, J-pop, and French rap). Learn more and buy tickets here.
Merry Tuesdays at Kronnerburger
For a fun holiday surprise, the late Slow Club is now popping up at Kronnerburger on the remaining Tuesdays in December. Chef Sante Salvoni — Chris Kronner’s former boss — will be serving up some Slow Club classics, such as dry-aged beef and pork meatball sandwiches for lunch, aged-beef bolognese with fresh pasta, grilled Dungeness crab with crab tamale aioli, and more. Details here.
Deli Board and others may be razed
As is increasingly common in San Francisco, some SoMA restaurants may be razed to make way for an apartment building. Deli Board, Fondue Cowboy, and Alchemy/Catalyst are all on the chopping block if the Planning Department approves a new 46-unit, six-story building on that land, SocketSite reports. There will be 3,300 square feet for retail space, but it’s unclear what will go in. Stay tuned for more.
