There's a lot going on foodwise in town this week, from bars running Super Bowl day specials to baller events, but some of it is rises to the top as just a little more ridiculous than the rest. Presenting the stuntiest of all the Super Bowl food stunts, which we'll keep updating throughout the week.
Fentons Creamery’s $50 "Cookie Bowl 50"
Fentons is offering a "Cookie Bowl 50" sundae, a massive bowl that feeds five to ten adults, or ten to 15 children for $50. It’s filled with 12 scoops of Swiss milk chocolate, rocky road and toasted almond ice creams, Oreo cookies covered with hot fudge, pineapple, strawberry, marshmallow and caramel toppings, whipped cream, OREO crumbles and cherries, and it’s all served in a housemade Oreo cookie bowl for fifty bucks.
Tony’s Pizza Napoletana’s $100 "Super Gold" Pizza
Because what is missing in your life is a $100 pizza, Tony’s Pizza Napoletana is selling the "Super Gold Pizza," a wood-fired multigrain pizza topped with gold flakes, white truffles, 24-month-old San Daniele prosciutto, mâche, Far West Fungi’s Clamshell, Lion’s Mane & Yellow Oyster mushrooms, fromage blanc and Carmody cheese from Bellwether Farms and Grande whole milk mozzarella, finished with Maldon salt. There are only 50 total of these bad boys available through February 7 (and 18 have already sold), of which all proceeds (up to $5,000) will be donated to the Kick Hunger Challenge in the name of the 29ers, the SF Marin Food Bank and St. Anthony’s San Francisco.
Alchemist Bar & Lounge's Metallica Menu Takeover
In honor of the Metallica concert Saturday, February 6 at AT&T Park, Alchemist Bar & Lounge is overhauling its menu in tribute to the band. Cocktails and beer-and-shot combos are themed to the heavy metal group with names like the $11 "Ride the Lightning" (tequila blanco, agave, lime, blue curaçao) and $8 "Master of Puppets" (rye or bourbon shot and a Pony High Life).
UberEats NFL Player Delivery
All week UberEats is running specials, like giving away free cake pops and a Bai juice today, and come Friday, NFL alum will be delivering meals through the day. We’re talking Cameron Jordan (New Orleans Saints), Marvin Jones (Cincinnati Bengals), Mychal Kendricks (Philadelphia Eagles) and Erick Kendricks (Minnesota Vikings), all of whom have either played at UCLA or Berkeley. Then on Sunday, the on-demand food delivery program is delivering wings from Double Decker or Hi-Tops from 1 to 5 p.m. anywhere in the city.
Death Wish Coffee Handout
Death Wish Coffee is handing out 1,000 free cups of coffee today in Union Square, on Market Street and presumably near Super Bowl City. Catch ‘em while you can.
Mealmade’s Paleo Game Food Delivery

Mealmade is delivering Paleo Super Bowl food this Sunday, with everything from grass-fed bison chili to organic buffalo wings with "Paleo ranch dip" and purple potato chips cooked in coconut oil. The "party feast" feeds four to six people for $69.95.
