Two New Ice Cream Brands Debuting This Saturday

FISHERMAN’S WHARFThe Baked Bear ice cream sandwich shop is opening this Saturday, February 13, and to celebrate it is handing out ice cream sandwiches from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Head to 2824 Jones St. for some free frozen treats. [EaterWire]

MISSION — In other ice cream news, Sugarbear Ice Cream is holding its first ice cream pop-up, also this Saturday, February 13, at Mateo’s Taqueria from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Unusual flavors like chocolate rose and horchata will be on offer. [EaterWire]

DUBOCE TRIANGLEBrewcade is turning one this weekend and throwing itself a first birthday party on Saturday, February 13. with complimentary popcorn, food pop-ups (Let’s Be Frank, Shakedown ice cream) and free all-play games from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Then, through Sunday, February 21, there will be a $4 beer can special (Ol' Republic Brewery Kolsch Gone A-Rye) and complimentary popcorn.
