St. Helena is really upping its food game this week — following on the heels of the announcement that "Top Chef Masters" vets Douglas Keane and Sang Yoon are teaming up on a yakitori restaurant comes the news that chef Chris Cosentino is getting into the mix. Cosentino, another "Top Chef Masters" alum, has been focused on the year-old Cockscomb in SoMa, but is now diverting his attention up to wine country.
Come November, Cosentino and his partner Oliver Wharton will head up all food and beverage operations at the upcoming Las Alcobas hotel at 1915 Main St. To be determined what form that takes, but there will be a Cosentino restaurant on the property, and it’s safe to assume there will be some pork present.
