Expanding its doughy domain in the city, Le Marais Bakery is adding a third location to its repertoire. It will be taking over the Samovar Tea Lounge space, likely by early summer, if, of course, all goes according to plan. Expect much of the same at this location, which will model itself off the original on Chestnut street with French cafe dishes like croque monsieur and madame, boudin blanc, shakshouka, salads, sandwiches and more. Brunch and the full bakery line will also be present; new to this location will be ice cream and more dinner-oriented dishes. The cafe will be open all day with table service, from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., to hit all needs.

The design will evoke Paris with the signature Le Marais blues and whites, and the team will be removing the counter that currently segments the 2,000-square-foot space to open it up. Expect 40 seats inside and ten on the sidewalk. This location is in addition to the original on Chestnut Street and the current pop-up in Ghirardelli Square.
