Petit Crenn is shaking things up a bit, with the addition of several popular dinner items to their midday selection. Now hungry denizens of Hayes Valley can consume oysters (raw or grilled), and dishes like Parisienne gnocchi and a fire-roasted trout for two for lunch, in addition to the lighter tartines and salads for which the restaurant is known. (Check out the full menu below.) There's also the advent of an oyster and Champagne deal, with a half bottle of grower Champagne and six oysters for $50, offered at lunch and dinner.
However, the increase in lunch menu options has resulted in the end of breakfast service. As of now, breakfast operations have ceased; fans of the omelette and buckwheat crepes will be relieved to learn that those French staples have made it onto the lunch roster.
And for those who aren't in a spontaneous lunch adventure, reservations are now available during the day, as well as for dinner. The new hours for lunch are 11 a.m- 2 p.m., with dinner from 5 p.m.-10 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
