As the city eagerly awaits the impending arrival of the Wise Sons Bagel & Bakery in the Fillmore District, owners Evan Bloom and Leo Beckerman are throwing bagel seekers a bone. This Wednesday, February 10 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., Caviar Fastbite will deliver a four-pack of Wise Sons bagels (two poppy seed, two sesame seed) and a pint of cream cheese for $10. Anywhere in city limits is guaranteed the delivery within 15 minutes of the order. Then, after this initial promotion, Wise Sons bagels will be available on Caviar with 24-hour advance notice until the bagelry opens for business.
At last update, Wise Sons was targeting a December opening, which has come and gone with no bagels. But, plans are steadily moving along — just two days ago, the windows were dressed, and the new goal is to open by the end of February. Stay tuned for more soon.
