Locondoms Are Back; Shinola Opening To Debut New Cruffin Flavor

JACKSON SQUARE — In honor of the store’s San Francisco debut, Shinola and Mr. Holmes Bakehouse have teamed up on a new cruffin flavor to be sold at the bakery this entire month and at Shinola at the launch party this Thursday, February 11 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Valentine’s Day. The flavor even has a cute name to go along — Shinola cola. [EaterWire]

OAKLAND — Chefs Chris Wolff (Bar Tartine) and Jonathan Tu (Rich Table), also known as the Journeymen, have teamed up for a series of pop-ups at Blackwater Station, each with a different theme. Head here for menus and tickets. [EaterWire]

CIVIC CENTER — In a partnership with Fish Revolution, Fine & Rare is starting a monthly seafood dinner series, each focusing on a certain aquatic species, fisherman or oceanic concern.
