Mosey Through Wesburger 'N' More, the Burger Pop-Up's Permanent Home in the Mission

It's a retro diner, but new

Wesburger 'N' More, the brick-and-mortar result of burger maestro Wes Rowe's longtime pop-up Wesburger, is poised to open its doors in late March. After two years of making it work in the pleasant, but small, Mojo Bicycle Cafe on Divisadero, Rowe and partner Chris Hastings (Lookout Bar) are launching operations in a much larger space, with a menu to match.

The interior from David Marks Design skews towards a retro diner aesthetic, featuring plenty of counter space with stools wrapped in mint colored leather, red booths, original wooden wainscoting and a vintage jukebox filled with soul music. The faux rock wall that covers the back wall is adorned with a large, vintage neon hamburger, evoking all the kitschy, good-time feels of a '70s diner. There's also a stuffed armadillo, a personal homage to the Texas-bred chef's roots.

Wesburger 'N' More will be serving dinner seven nights a week from 5 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.; lunch and late night dining to come. Stay tuned for an opening date.
