SF Beer Shuttle Launches Wednesday; Rose Pistola Turns 20

SAN FRANCISCO — Here’s your chance to try all the top local breweries in one crazy night on the Drink SF Beer Shuttle. Starting this Wednesday, March 16, you can ride a free hop-on, hop-off shuttle bus that stops at Black Sands Brewery, Magnolia Brewpub, Barrel Head Brewhouse, Sunset Reservoir Brewing and Social Kitchen & Brewery. The evening kicks off at 6 p.m. at Black Sands Brewery, and the first shuttle departs at 7 p.m. to make the loop before finally returning to Black Sands. Three separate shuttles will be making the rounds every 15 to 20 minutes, and the shuttles will run monthly through the end of the year, with different stops each time. Head here for all the info. NORTH BEACHRose Pistola is turning 20, and to celebrate the restaurant is holding a whole slew of events. On Thursday, March 17, the menu will feature classics from throughout the years; on Saturday, March 19 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. will be a neighborhood appreciation party with a live jazz band, passed appetizers and drinks; Sunday, March 20 brings a fundraiser for North Beach Citizens by dining at the restaurant; Monday march 21 is a similar fundraiser for Clinic by the Bay. OAKLANDBlue Bottle is debuting its new ready-to-drink cold brew, an eight-ounce canned iced coffee made with just coffee and water this Friday, March 18 in all Bay Area stores. BERKELEYBedrock Wine Co. founder Morgan Twain-Peterson and Ravenswood founder Joel Peterson (Twain-Peterson's father) will both be pouring Bedrock wines at Comal with a special pairing menu (there may even be some Ravenswood).
