The Myriad Market Opens In the Castro With Juice, Barbecue To Come

The combination market hall and small business incubator is in soft open

Yet another market has joined the SF dining and retail scene, this time with The Myriad. The combination market hall and small business incubator is not fully up and running, but there’s coffee at Cro Cafe and juice at RAW. There’s also a bar inside called Mrs. Jones (spinoff and spouse to Jones, the Tenderloin bar), located in a 20-foot shipping container inside the market with a rotating menu of cocktails from bartender Joey Picchi (Oddjob, Jones, The Midway). To join the market shortly are barbecue at Antonik’s BBQ, sweets at Homestead Cookies, a flower stall and a cell phone repair shop, and longer term, butcher shop Gambrel & Co and creperie Crêpes S’il Vous Plaît are on their way.

The 4,000-square-foot space in the Castro is from the partners behind Jones, Oddjob and The Midway (Jordan Langer, Pete Glikshtern, and Jeff Whitmore). The Myriad is open daily 7 a.m. to 12 a.m.
