Chefs Michael Tusk, Charles Phan and Roland Passot to Cook at Stones Throw for One Night Only

It’s all to benefit Old Skool Café

Patricia Chang

Stones Throw continues to pull in the heavy hitters for its charity guest chef series. Suzette Gresham (Acquerello), Val Cantu (Californios) and Dominique Crenn (Atelier Crenn, Petit Crenn) all had their turn at the stoves earlier this year for the restaurant’s Eat Like a Chef, Drink Like a Somm series, and now the next series of chefs is lined up. And it’s a doozy: Michael Tusk (Quince, Cotogna), Charles Phan (Slanted Door) and Roland Passot (Le Folie) are all ready to take over the Stones Throw kitchen for one night each.

So far the series has raised more than $65,000 for local charities, and the dinners this year have so far pulled in over $7,000 for Old Skool Café, a youth-run, jazz-themed supper club in Bayview. Stones Throw started the series as a way for people to give back locally without having to spend a ton of money at galas or fundraisers.

Tickets, $60 per person, are available here. Phan will cook on Monday, April 25, Passot on Monday, May 23 and Tusk on Monday, June 27.
