PEBBLE BEACH— Weekend road trip, anyone? The super-luxe Pebble Beach Food and Wine festival is back again, bringing a star-studded lineup to food fans from all over. It's going down right now, from Thursday March 31 through Sunday, April 3. DUBOCE TRIANGLE— It's tiki time at Blackbird once again. For one night only, stop by for tiki drinks, food and festivities, which include a "best Hawaiian shirt" contest. The night of island fun takes place April 3 from 8 p.m. - 2 a.m. [EaterWire]

NOB HILL— Relive the San Francisco beat renaissance with the Poetry & Jazz series at Top of the Mark. It's a month-long series and partnership with the SF Beat Museum featuring poets, local jazz musicians, cocktails and snacks. MID-MARKET— It's time for the second installment of La Cocina's storytelling series, "Voices from the Kitchen," which gives a speaking platform to cooks and kitchen folk that aren't always heard.  This installment's theme focuses on labor and includes stories from chef/author Gabrielle Hamilton, the SF Chronicle's Jonathan Kauffman,  and more.
