Saratoga’s Sent Sovi put David Kinch (Manresa) on the map, but the popular French restaurant shuttered in September after 40 years. Owner Josiah Slone closed it to make some changes for a reboot that is now ready for its debut. Called Relish Gastro Lounge, the restaurant has a more casual feel than Sent Sovi with an international menu and a big focus on craft beer. Former Sent Sovi chef Timothy Uttaro (231 Ellsworth, Epicurean Group) is helming the stoves, and he created an eclectic menu of dishes like buffalo carpaccio and couscous risotto, which you can see in full below.

Slone and his wife/partner Khin Khin gave the interior an update, focusing especially on a Micromatic beer system that has 24 beers on tap, including three nitros. Wine is also still a strong focus at Relish with the restaurant’s custom dispenser system that stores wines by the glass at the different temperatures each needs. Relish opens Saturday, March 5 and will be open Sunday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
