New Pot Shop Harvest Spearheads SF's Gourmet Weed World

Gourmet edibles for sale, people

Harvest Shop/Yelp

It’s not news that marijuana is invading popular food culture, especially as it becomes legal in more and more states. Getting into the weed food game in San Francisco is Harvest, a new “cannabis clinic” (as Yelp calls the category) in the Inner Richmond that’s focused on edibles. Edibles like brown butter sage marshmallows, sriracha potato chips, granola, and strawberry wedding cake soda, to be specific. Brands like Auntie Dolores (sweets) and Yummi Karma (drink enhancers, sauces and beauty products) stock the shelves.

The shop itself, which took over the former Hemp Center with new ownership, has warm tones and a stylized interior, and all the products are available to peruse. That’s a departure from other city dispensaries, where you have to get the product through an employee. Of course, only people with legally recognized Medical Cannabis Identification Cards or a verifiable, written recommendation from a physician for medical cannabis can buy product, but if that’s you, Harvest is open everyday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
