Horsefeather Is the Newest Addition to SF's Cocktail Scene

It’s got a pedigreed staff and drink-friendly food in a wood-paneled space

Patricia Chang

All you slushie-slinging lushes can now rejoice in Horsefeather, the bar from Justin Lew and Ian Scalzo (former employees of Future Bars) that emerged as the beautiful butterfly from Tsk/tsk’s caterpillar cocoon. Look through photos of the bar in all its wood-paneled glory here, peruse the food menu, created by chef Ryan Chinchilla (Foreign Cinema), here and glance to your right for a glimpse at the ambitious drinks that come in gorgeous barware.

Then, go. Go to Horsefeather, which as of tonight is officially open Monday through Friday from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.
