NORTH BEACH — San Francisco’s reigning pizzaiolo Tony Gemignani has yet again won the World Pizza Championships, this year being his 12th win. This year’s winning pie was made with seven-grain dough, Grande and Stanislaus cheeses, Menu Regati Tomato’s, wild boar prosciutto, goat cheese and Aiello. Plus, Laura Meyer, who heads up the Tony’s kitchen, placed in the top 10 out of 379 competitors in the Classica division. [EaterWire]
