After more than a decade, culinary rascal Anthony Bourdain will release a new cookbook, Appetites: A Cookbook. And with that release comes "The Hunger," a multi-city show traveling across the country. And since we already know Mr. Bourdain is a fan of San Francisco (here's where he ate on his last visit, and filmed for Parts Unknown), it's no surprise that he's making two stops in the Bay Area: SF and San Jose.
Eater National has the first look at Appetites' cover, which includes recipes that the chef thinks everyone should be able to cook, like roast chicken with lemon and butter. While the cookbook hits shelves October 25, the tour kicks off in Boston on October 7 with two dates in the Bay Area:
- Thursday, November 16 at the San Francisco Opera House
- Friday, November 17 at San Jose's Center for the Performing Arts
