Now, coveted reservations for the popular Taiwanese dumpling spot are for sale on Craigslist, over Memorial Day weekend no less.That's right, reservations to eat dumplings are now for sale on Craigslist, for the starting bid of $50.
It's the first time the mercilessly popular chain has been forced to utilize a booking system, which is a testament to the Bay Area's voracious hunger for dumplings. Check out the full Craiglist ad below.
Spring into the long Memorial Day weekend with a delicious lunch at the newly opened world famous Din Tai Fung Restaurant in Valleyfair Mall, Santa Clara!
Starting May 16, the restaurant is operating on a reservation only seating basis and the next available openings are about 1 month away for prime dim sum time.
Currently selling a reservation for party of 2 on Friday May 27 @ 11:30 AM. The restaurant opens at 11 AM so you'll be one of the first patrons in the restaurant, meaning fresh soup dumplings and still have rest of your day left! Great for work lunch hour on a Friday or even a perfect lunch date heading into the weekend.
Opening bid at $50 OBO. The date is coming up quick and already many requests for last minute reservations. Currently there is NO WAY to get into the restaurant without a reservation, unless you brave the long lines for single diner, or bar seating. 3-4 hours wait expected.
Reservation is linked onto Yelp account but I will forward you my Yelp reservation email to you once agreement and transaction are agreed upon.
