One-million-time Twelve-time world pizza champion Tony Gemignani has a firmly dominant hold on San Francisco’s pizza market, with restaurants like Tony’s Pizza Napoletana, Capo’s, and more, and his empire is only multiplying. As of Friday, May 27, Walnut Creek will have its very own Slice House (bringing that number to five in the Bay Area), Gemignani’s more casual concept that — like its name denotes — serves pizza by the slice. Like the name doesn’t denote, there’s also salads, soups, pasta, and sandwiches, and this location will now have juices, as well as not-so-secret menu items of disco fries and chili fries. You can see the full menu below.
Gemignani opened the East Bay location because he recently moved back to the area. He’s bringing back some of North Beach with him, serving Caffé Roma & Trieste coffee for breakfast and throughout the day. Slice House Walnut Creek will be open Monday through Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Thursday through Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 12 a.m., and Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
