San Francisco food world darling Dominique Crenn (Atelier Crenn, Petit Crenn) is no culinary secret — she's recently won accolades like Eater's 2015 chef of the year and 'World's Best Female Chef 2016' — but she's about to blow up in an even bigger way. Come Friday, May 27, Crenn's episode on Netflix's Chef Table will premiere, catapulting her to a global stage of recognition.
In the exclusive clip above, Crenn discusses the constant push for more. Unfortunately filming occurred before Crenn's recent Antoinette debacle, so we won't gain any insight into that situation; nonetheless, peering inside her process for creating what can only be called art at Atelier Crenn will be enlightening.
The other chefs to debut on May 27 are Grant Achatz (Next, The Aviary), Alex Atala (Dom), Enrique Olvera (Cosme, Pujol), Ana Ros (Hiša Franko), and Gagan Anand (Gaggan). Watch the exclusive clip above for a mini preview.
