As they did in San Francisco, beloved New York transplants The Halal Guys will be serving up their famous white sauce chicken via delivery before they officially open to the public. Starting with Wednesday's lunch rush, hungry office drones in San Jose, Santa Clara and Sunnyvale will be able to order up the Halal Guys' street meat via food delivery app Caviar.
Pre-orders actually begin today, although South Bay diners will have to wait until Wednesday to get their lunch. The delivery window is open from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. daily after that, and currently on the menu are the much-hyped chicken platters, gyro platters or a combo of the two. For those of you who just can't get enough of that storied white sauce, bonus packets can be added on to your order for a very reasonable $0.99.
According to our Halal source, the brick-and-mortar location in San Jose's the Plant is still shooting for an official grand opening later this month.
