Drink Beer on the Beach at Upcoming Woods Island Club

It hits Treasure Island on July 9

Woods Island Club

Woods Beer Co. — known for its quirky beers, including Girl Scout cookie variations — has locations in both San Francisco and the East Bay, and now it’s bridging the gap (literally) and opening a fourth spot on Treasure Island, smack between the two. Come July 9, Woods Island Club will open in a 4,350-square-foot space with an indoor tasting room (in an old airplane hangar) with eight beers on tap, a barrel aging facility, and — the best part — an 4,000-square-foot outdoor "beer beach" right on the beach of Treasure Island’s Clipper Cove. Woods Beer, obviously, will be on tap, including some new ones like a wine barrel-aged sour. Food will be provided by pop-up vendors and food trucks.

Woods Island Club will open on July 9 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., and be open on select weekends after that (full schedule posted here). Beyond the Treasure Island location, Woods Beer Co. is also looking to open a location in the Sunset. Stay tuned for more details on both locations.
