Cala, Locol Named Food & Wine Restaurants of the Year

SAN FRANCISCO — Food & Wine revealed its 2016 Restaurants of the Year, and two Bay Area restaurants made the cut — Cala and Locol, to be specific. SAN RAFAEL — Wise Sons is in the midst of building a Bay Area bagel empire, and its latest territory takeover is the Marin Farmers Market (10 Ave. of the Flags). Starting this Sunday, Wise Sons will sell its smoked meats, bagels, bialys, and other baked goods weekly from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. [EaterWire]
