Eater SF Seeks Fall Editorial Intern

You could report on the Bay Area's food news and contribute to dining guides

Eater SF is looking for an enthusiastic intern with journalism in their blood to join our team this fall. First and foremost, the editorial intern will work closely with our San Francisco team to research, report on, and write articles and maps; other responsibilities include fact checking, finding photos, transcribing interviews, brainstorming stories and story angles, creating and maintaining an editorial calendar, tracking openings, and more. The intern will walk away with portfolio clips and a deeper understanding of how to report restaurant news in a fast-paced environment.

We're looking for an intern who understands Eater's audience and voice, has a strong desire for a career in journalism, and is familiar with food culture. Applicants should have strong writing skills, with bonus points given for photography/Photoshop experience. The internship is paid, runs 12 to 15 hours a week, and is SF-based.

To apply, email with your resume, a list of the five best restaurants in the Bay Area, and a brief explanation of why each one was chosen.
