Ramen Shop is about to blow the minds of its fans with the addition of a brand new to-go menu, starting Tuesday, July 26. The takeaway option has been in the works for some time, following the expansion of the restaurant into the former luggage store next door.
That expansion included the addition of a cocktail bar and lounge, as well as a room dedicated specifically to making noodles and a larger prep kitchen, allowing the opportunity to add takeaway. However, ramen won’t be part of that. According to co-owner Sam White, you’ll still have to come to the restaurant for its namesake noodle soup. Luckily, there will be an entirely new and separate menu just for diners wishing to take their meals home.
Dishes such donburi with a variety of topping options (like fried pork tonkatsu, crispy duck leg and confited albacore tuna), miso-glazed corn, and chilled noodle salad will be part of it. For now, interested parties can place an order the old-fashioned way: via phone. White says he’s considering different apps and delivery companies, but for now just call it in, and pay over the phone or at pick up.
The menu — in full below — will be available from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week.
