Brothers Scott and Kevin Youkilis, one an established Bay Area restaurateur (with Hog & Rocks) and one a retired Major League Baseball player, have teamed up to open Loma Brewing Company in Los Gatos. It’s taking over the Los Gatos Brewing Company space, which closed in January after 20 successful years in the town, leaving a void in Los Gatos for hyper-local craft beer. A void that the Youkilis family will now fill, with help from chef Aubree Arndt and beermaker Warren Billups.

Arndt created a menu of pub fare, with typical beer-paired food like pretzels, sausages, flatbreads, burgers, and more. You can see the full menu below. As for the beer, Billups (who last worked at Heretic Brewing) has prepped four beers to start (an IPA, a pale ale, a dry stoute, and a Berliner weisse), and will soon add four more.
Loma Brewing Company is now open Sunday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 12 a.m.
